The National Mechanics Championship is a unique educational initiative that attracts numerous passionate partners and experts each year, all dedicated to providing essential training materials and organizing practical challenges. The Strategic Partner of the Championship is ORLEN OIL, which plays a key role in the development of young and professional mechanics, particularly in the use of lubricants in the automotive industry. Brand ambassadors—Kuba Przygoński, Bartosz Zmarzlik, and Kajetan Kajetanowicz—actively support participants, sharing their invaluable experiences.

“At ORLEN OIL, we are convinced that enhancing the qualifications of young mechanics is essential for the future of the automotive industry. Our goal is to educate the next generation of mechanics and improve the skills of experienced professionals, enabling them to deliver top-tier services using cutting-edge technologies and products. The use of the right lubricants is critical not only for vehicle performance and technical condition but also for ensuring road safety. That’s why it’s vital for future mechanics to possess both practical knowledge and specialized expertise. We’re thrilled to once again be a part of the National Mechanics Championship and contribute to the future of Polish mechanics,”
says Arkadiusz Trela, CEO of ORLEN OIL
Categories of the 14th National Mechanics Championship
Each year, the National Mechanics Championship surprises with new categories and challenges that reflect the rapidly evolving automotive industry. This year, alongside the already established 9 categories, a new one has been introduced: Young Film Applicator. This category is designed for those who want to hone their skills in applying protective and decorative films, providing participants with the chance to gain valuable experience in one of the industry’s fastest-growing areas, under the guidance of professionals from 3M, the Strategic Partner of this category.
„Applying protective and decorative films is a rapidly growing field in the automotive industry, driven by the increasing demand for vehicle customization and body protection. Our partnership with the Mechanics Championship not only gives young people the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in this area, but also allows them to learn from experts who work daily with cutting-edge technologies. Supporting initiatives like this is how we promote innovation and help develop the future specialists who will rise to the challenges of the automotive industry,”
says Tomasz Turkiewicz from 3M
In addition to this, The Wrap Center will again join the Championship to educate young mechanics, sharing knowledge and practical tips on car wrapping techniques.
The remaining categories, already well-known from previous editions, include:
-
Young Mechanic
-
Professional Mechanic
-
Electromobility
-
Young Agricultural Machinery Mechanic
-
Young Truck Mechanic
-
Young Motorcycle Mechanic
-
Young Painter
-
Young Detailer
-
Young LPG Installer
One of the key partners of the Young Detailer category is FLEX Polska.
„We’ve supported the Young Detailer category since its introduction last year, and we see it as the perfect opportunity to help foster young talent. FLEX, a manufacturer of power tools, offers polishing machines designed for the automotive sector, and we recognized that this was an ideal way to contribute to the development of young enthusiasts in this field. Last year, we hosted a polishing competition, and we are pleased to see how quickly this industry is growing. In fact, it was officially added to the business activity catalog at the end of 2024, which shows how important and popular this sector has become,”
says Anna Rydzewska from FLEX Polska
The Young LPG Installer category will make its return for the second year, after receiving significant interest from students in mechanical schools last year.
„We’re excited to return to the Championship this year. The project has made a tremendous impression on us, both in terms of its scale and the consistency with which it focuses on developing young talent in the automotive industry. The LPG sector is primarily made up of small, often family-run workshops that install gas systems, including our STAG products. However, we’ve noticed a generational gap – there’s a shortage of young people, both men and women, who are willing to take over these businesses and continue developing the industry. When we learned about the Mechanics Championship, we knew it was the perfect place for us. Not only does it cover a wide range of specializations in the automotive world, but it also offers the chance to collaborate with leaders in the field, making this project exceptional. We were pleasantly surprised last year by the interest young people showed in LPG installations, and we can see that our industry aligns perfectly with their interests. Despite the growing popularity of electromobility, the LPG market in Poland continues to develop. Both sectors can coexist, and we’re confident that LPG has a bright future ahead, both economically and ecologically,”
says Urszula Mirończuk from AC SA, the Strategic Partner of the category, alongside the STAG brand

says Łukasz Sikorski, Regional Manager at Clarios Poland, owner of the VARTA brand
ZF Aftermarket, a leader offering a wide range of products and services for automotive workshops, will introduce young mechanics to the latest in automotive technology. The company specializes in products such as drivetrains, suspension systems, steering, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), all of which are becoming standard in modern vehicles.
„As a pioneer in the automotive industry, ZF Aftermarket is not only committed to providing innovative products but also to educating the next generation of mechanics who will shape the future of the automotive world. During the National Mechanic Championship, we aim to share our knowledge, not just about our products, but also about the emerging technologies and systems increasingly integrated into vehicles – from drivetrains to advanced driver assistance systems. The practical sessions and educational materials we’ve prepared will help young mechanics better understand these technologies and get ready for the challenges they will face in their professional careers,”
says Michał Głażewski, Director of Network Management and Technical Team at ZF Aftermarket
Electromobility will also take center stage during the Championship, with experts from NexDrive guiding participants through the specifics of electric vehicles. Participants will not only learn about these vehicles but also gain hands-on experience in diagnosing and servicing them.
„Electromobility is no longer just the future – it’s already here. As this sector rapidly evolves, it’s crucial for young mechanics to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements. With support from NexDrive experts, participants will acquire the knowledge needed to work with electric and hybrid vehicles. The challenges developed by NexDrive will offer them a deeper understanding of how these innovative technologies function,”
says Andrzej Guzek, Groupauto CEE
The National Mechanic Championship isn’t just an opportunity to compete; it’s also a unique chance to gain invaluable knowledge and skills from across the automotive industry.

Each edition offers a platform for young mechanics to acquire new skills, discover the latest automotive technologies, and build meaningful connections with leaders in the field. By organizing this event, our goal is to ensure that young mechanics have access to the most current knowledge and are able to develop their passions under the guidance of experts.
